For Girls Ages 13-17 • Thursdays • 5:45 - 6:30 pm March 30 – May 2
Children today face constant pressure from their friends and the media to look and act in particular ways. Though parents and teachers cannot take these pressures away, they can help alleviate the damage by promoting confidence and high self-esteem. Participants will learn about self-worth, preventing self-harm, reducing feelings of anxiety and depression, and overcoming bullying. They will also explore options for dealing with family and friend “drama” by increasing assertiveness and improving communication skills. Join us and become confident in who you are!
Clients who are new to the Pastoral Institute should call to schedule an initial evaluation appointment. If your child is currently, or was recently a client of the Pastoral Institute, you or your child's counselor can refer them for group sessions.
