 l challenges for mental health clinicians. Using case examples\, discussio
 n\, and lecture\, participants in this workshop will consider how the ethi
 cal codes apply to the practical world of counseling and special emphasis 
 will be placed on developing professionals' understanding of decision-maki
 ng processes used in arriving at ethical courses of action in the context 
 of a changing world. The workshop will highlight issues of informed consen
 t\, competence\, confidentiality\, and boundaries/multiple relationships. 
 Using case studies and vignettes\, professionals will be invited to consid
 er what might be the best course of action in a variety of scenarios prese
 nting ethical dilemmas.\n\nWhat You Will Learn\n\n•understand the assumpti
 ons and theories behind ethical decision-making models\n•be able to identi
 fy and explain a practical model for ethical decision-making\n•explain how
  ethical decision-making models can apply to issues of informed consent\n•
