Starting May 25th
FOCUS = Focusing, Organizational skills, Calmness, Using good choices, Stress tolerance
(Ages 7 and up) Wednesdays 3 PM to 3:45 PM.
This series helps children identify the core aspects of ADHD such as focusing issues, problems with executive functioning, not listening, etc. Children will learn how to recognize these core aspects and also learn age-specific strategies to aid in improving their core skills, their academic performance, and their behavior and social interactions. Parents will receive information on strategies and techniques to use at home to help with their child's continued progress. Summer is a great time for your child to learn these skills in preparation for the next school year.
Facilitated by Kelly Swinyard, LPC and co-facilitated by Melissa Miller, MS
