Surviving the Unthinkable, Survival Training for Civilians
If your building caught fire or a tornado warning sounded, you would know exactly what to do. But, would you know what to do if an active shooter entered your location?
In an effort to relieve the anxiety and worry caused by all the recent headlines, the Business Resource Center of the Pastoral Institute has developed a 90-minute workshop titled "Surviving the Unthinkable" (The Civilian's Guide to Active Shooter Response). It is based on sound research from Homeland Security, police and sheriff's departments throughout the US and includes the most recent training video funded by the Department of Homeland Security.
After participating in this one hour session with up to 30 minutes of Q&A, you will feel secure in knowing that if the unthinkable happens, you will know how to best respond.
