Session III. Addictions: Toward a Theology of Grace
Pornography, drugs, alcohol… Are these and other addictions biological, psychological, spiritual? Are they some combination of these and other factors? This session will identify the characteristics of addictions from the latest research. It will identify the latest interventions in treatment. It will also explore how a better understanding of the “Theology of Grace” places the congregation in an appropriate place to support the addict and family while maintaining its place as a representative of the Kingdom of God.
