Children & Teens

A Safe Place to Grow, Heal, and Be Heard

Growing up isn't always easy.
Children and teens face many challenges as they learn about themselves. Navigating school, friendships, and changing emotions can feel overwhelming.

Support Through Every Stage of Growing Up

Children and teens don't always experience or express challenges in the same way. A young child may struggle to find the words to explain what they are feeling, while a teen may feel overwhelmed by school, relationships, social pressures, or uncertainty about the future.

No matter their age or what they may be facing, counseling can provide a space to pause, explore their experiences, and learn healthier ways to cope.

Children and teens may benefit from counseling when they are experiencing:

  • Anxiety, worry, or fears
  • Sadness or changes in mood
  • Stress or feeling overwhelmed
  • Developmental delays or regression
  • Difficulty managing emotions
  • Challenges at school
  • Difficulty with friendships or relationships
  • Social pressures
  • Behavioral concerns
  • Grief and loss
  • Major life changes or transitions
  • Low confidence or self-esteem
  • Difficulty adjusting to new situations
  • Feeling stuck, misunderstood, or uncertain about the future

Building Skills for Life. Counseling is a place for children and teens to learn more about themselves and discover new ways to navigate the challenges they face.
